“A Divine Walk” by AB Gray sky, sharp rain, blustery wind I made my way down the path. Across rolling hills and rushing creek, I may have thought, “I’d like to go back!” But on I went though my legs became heavy And the umbrella I held seemed a bit shaky. The Path was clear, simple and straight, A Divine Walk for me to create. As I looked across the wet, sparkling meadow An urge to run came over me. What fun to stray from the Path – And run like a child through the downy green! I chose to stay where I was walking And a strange thing happened to see – The downy meadow tuned in high-definition With thorns, thistles, and sticky bird droppings. Bramble bushes twisted to the left, Tall spikey weeds choked to the right. Perhaps a tour off the Path would be not so fun If I’d be covered in briars, leaves, and mud. A romp through a pasture is only a game Until you’ve found you’ve lost your way. So onward I went in wind and rain Down the Path keeping my Focus the Same. Snow-white blossoms fell from the trees The clouds parted and Home I came to be. “Commitment” by AB Honoring myself Choosing moment-to-moment It is all within “Commitment” by AB
